Huaxing Petrochemical’s low pressure gas cabinet passed checks by the provincial environment protection department. Xu Xingchang, the company safety supervisor, made a detailed introduction to the inspection team. The 20,000-cubic-meter dry gas recovery unit is one of the company’s energy conservation and emission reduction projects. The roller dry gas cabinet was designed by CNOOC Enpal Engineering, and the helical-lobe compressor was produced by China Shipbuilding Industry. The low pressure gas cabinet has recovered about 17,000 tons of low pressure gas, saving 26,000 tons of standard coal and more than 200 tons of sulfur dioxide. It helped adjust the pressure on the gas system and gas demand, ensuring the normal operation of all units and environmental sustainability. It also played a positive role in raising social and economic benefits for the company and boosting its rapid development.
