PolyRemedy, a provider of personalized wound care systems, has introduced HealSmart PWS 2.3 wound care software.

The HealSmart PWS 2.3 software is designed to enhance mobile assessment tools, treat algorithms and advance analytics for wounds.

PolyRemedy CEO Mark Carbeau said the company's approach to wound care integrates information technology and personalized therapeutics.

"PWS 2.3 allows clinicians to consistently capture relevant assessment information on all wounds, provides real-time alerts and reports to help manage their wound care patients, and embeds a treatment protocol that offers the exact size, shape and function of the HealSmart dressing required for treatment," Carbeau added.

"With our new automated manufacturing, we can support commercial volumes with expanded HealSmart dressing size ranges and a new wound filler product."

PolyRemedy said to support the commercialization efforts, it has appointed Joel Pickering as the company's marketing vice president, David Kerwar as strategic and product marketing vice president, and Kathy Whittington as clinical director.

PolyRemedy president and COO Cameron McKennitt said, "We continue to demonstrate successful clinical and economic outcomes for our customers, while assembling a high performance team to launch our commercial business and accelerate growth."
